Primula florindae

These giant cowslips from the Himalayas are also known as the Tibetan cowslip. They make magnificent waterside plants and can grow up to one metre high and the same across in good conditions.  The delightfully spice scented flowers come in a range of yellow, copper or raspberry red.

They will self seed profusely and will hybridise with Primula sikkimensis, waltonii and alpicola.
