This should really be considered as a synonym for Primula prolifera, however the plants we have differ considerably in habit, so to avoid confusion we are keeping the old name. It is a bright yellow candelabra which is much shorter in stature than the Primula prolifera we have. It doesn't form such large rosettes so is a good choice for the smaller garden. It is just as hardy and also keeps its leaves in the winter.
