Cyclamen graecum subsp. candicum
811-P
Plant
€5.82
Cyclamen graecum subsp. candicum
Originally from the island of Crete where it grows in lime stone screes, cliffs and outcrops. They have varied leaf patterns and the flowers are white with dark pink bases. They are autumn flowering with the flowers appearing just before the leaves.
Not very hardy, they don’t like wet, cold winters and are often grown in pots in a cold greenhouse but they will do well in garden in milder climates.
Please note that as they are from open-pollinated seed there may be some variation in flower and leaf colour. Photo 2 copyright @Jonathan Hermant.
