Primula denticulata
The drumstick primula (also called the Lollipop primula) produces a wonderful display in the garden and is one of the most common primulas from the Himalayas. In the right conditions, it will form large plants with a lot of flower stems. They are easy to divide and will self-sow when grown in groups. This variety comes in deep purple, red-purple and lavender shades.
Dies back to a resting bud in the winter.
