Relatively easy garden plants, these plants are found in the wild in damp, humus-rich soil and were discovered found by George Forrest in Yunnan, China. They flower readily and set seed freely. This is a mixture of seed that my include some P. chionantha subsp purpurea. They will include several colours including mauve, white, lilac or purple
