Primula polyneura

Another species from the Cortusoides section, which is widespread in north-west China to the Tibetan-Yunnan frontier where it grows in open and stony lime soil in moist wooded areas. 

It is a fairly robust plant and has thick, hairy leaves that are quite rounded in shape. The flowers are pale pink to purple with an orange eye. 

Culture: A long-lived plant which grows well in cool, well-drained situations in the garden.
